What is the Bottom of Things?
First, let me tell you what it is not. It is not
a blog. I am not a big fan of blogs, therefore I have decided that
this will not be one. It is not a personal website. I have one of
those, and this is not it. The very first thing to be featured here
is a video I shot about the Basset Rescue Network. Ideally, I would
like to shoot a series of videos in which I visit people who are
trying to make a difference in the world, and then ridicule them.
Hopefully, the format will grow beyond that as soon as I figure
out what getting to the "bottom of things" really means.
With this video, I am not necessarily getting to the bottom of things. However, I had an available set, and 2 actors (one of whom was me,) so I shot this whatever-it-is.
This video has nothing
to do with The Bottom of Things, it is simply the trailer to
a short film I recently directed and starred in. I also produced. And
edited. Plus I provided the costumes. And craft services. If embedded
video doesn't work, click
here.
Ggreg Snyder has been featured on Comedy Central's Beat the Geeks
and The Man Show, USA Network's USA: Up All Night
and the Paramount documentary Trekkies 2. He also wrote, produced,
directed and starred in a mockumentary called The
Tools. He has written for Jay Leno's Tonight Show
monologue and National Lampoon magazine, and recently appeared
in a Xerox commercial as an annoying man.
Regarding the unconventional spelling of his first name, he says: "It is a silent prayer for world peace. When there's peace in the world, the extra "G" will be gone."
